Navy Djonovic serves as the outsourced Controller for a number of companies, and provides accounting and auditing expertise to clients in a wide range of industries, including not-for-profit, healthcare, professional services and retail. Her focus areas include internal accounting functions, certified audits, financial statement review and compilations, regulatory cost reporting and special projects. Navy serves as M Group’s quality control director, ensuring that the firm is compliant with all state regulations and adheres to the highest standards of service. Navy oversees recruitment and training for the Accounting and Auditing department.

Since joining M Group in 1999, Navy has established herself as a resource for her clients. She has become more than just a financial expert, and is recognized by her clients as someone who brings a combination of talent and passion to every project.  Navy specializes in client service, standing shoulder to shoulder with her clients, in order to learn about their operations and better understand their needs. Her philosophy is to partner with her clients, and become a part of their business.

Navy, a Certified Public Accountant, brings more than 15 years of experience to M Group. She started her career with the Big 4 accounting firm Deloitte & Touche LLP, and was then with Arthur Andersen LLP. Prior to joining M Group Navy served as the Director of Operations of Mikimoto (America), a world leader in high-end cultured pearls and pearl jewelry.

Navy is a graduate of Fordham University, and holds a bachelor degree in Accounting. She is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Westchester County Association, and currently serves on the board of directors of the Child Care Council of Westchester, the Westchester County Association and Provident Bank.
